Abstract: The growth and root distribution of the honeysockle were studied. The various indexs including soil physical characters and hydrological status, water parmeate rate, the effected of soil water holding, and amount of soil erosion wre tested. The usualts indicated that the honeysuckle had the effects on rainfall interception, decreasing overland flow, increasing soil water capacity and water holding and soil keep ability.
