Diversity of Bryophytes and Their Conservation

Abstract

Abstract: Based on survey of the rich literature ,the biodiversity of bryophytes in different levels of species, genetics and ecosystems in the world as well as in China was introduced. The results showed that the bryodiversity of bryophytes is much richer than people thought. Recent activities on conservation of biodiversity of bryophytes organized by the International Association of Bryologists(IAB) were presented. The suggestions for better conservation of biodiversity of bryophytes in China were put forward in the paper.
