Abstract

Abstract: The industrial energy inputs into Chinese agroecosystems in 1982 were estimated and comparedwith those into American agroecosystems in 1975.The average total industrial energy inputper sowed hectare of cereal cropping systems per year and the ratio of total industrial ener-gy input/cereal energy output in China in 1982 were almost as high as those in the UnitedStates.The characters of industrial energy utilizations in Chinese cereal cropping systemswere discussed.
