Abstract: According to circumstances of the reconstruction project roads surrounding Urumqi, this paper studied the environment impact induced by the project. Three roads and nearby landscapes along them would be changed. Land acquisition, green land reduction, and trench line would affect the environment. The transportation of the local people would be affected. Suggestions and measures on improving the environment quality were put forward.
