Abstract: In this paper, age structure, the relationship between the age and the stem diameter of Cinnamomum burmannii populaion were studiedl survival curve and age structure pictures were given. This results showed that on the Karst hills of Guilin, there was a linear relationship between the age and the stem diameter of C. burmannii population. Young-aged individuals were more, while middle-aged and old individuals were less. The age structure was classified into two types, growing and stable, while the survival curve was of types Deevey Ⅲ and Ⅱ. Habitat condition and human disturbance were the main factors affecting the age structure and the dynamics of C. burmannii population, and thus, the protection and fostering of C. burmannii community should be reinforced, meanwhile the human disturbance should be reduced.
