Abstract: Why Chinese feudal system lasted very long time is a disputative question. The ecological analysis in the article provided a new explaination for the question. In traditional period of China, the high population pressure lasted for very long time, ecological system couldnt provide enough resources for the further growth of proto industry, so the bud of capitalism existed, but couldnt grow up.
