库布齐沙漠柠条林群落特征与土壤种子库的关系

摘要: 从群落水平探讨不同生长状态柠条林的群落特征、物种多样性和土壤种子库的差异,分析群落与土壤种子库的相关性,可为柠条林的自然恢复提供基础理论。以库布齐沙漠不同生长状态柠条林为研究对象,对林地进行野外植被调查,并采集林下土壤种子库,在实验室进行镜检,分析土壤种子库数量特征。结果表明:(1)柠条人工补植林的平均株高、冠幅和植被盖度最大,柠条老化退化林的植物种数最多,为12种,以豆科和苋科植物为主。(2)柠条老化退化林的Shannon多样性指数与Margalef丰富度指数最高,分别为2.26和2.52。(3)土壤种子库主要集中在0~2 cm土层;柠条老化退化林0~2 cm的土壤种子库密度最大,为2614粒·m-2。(4)土壤种子库密度与群落物种数和盖度呈显著正相关。因此,在老化退化林更新改造过程中,可以充分发挥土壤种子库的潜力,促进植被自然恢复。

Abstract: Exploring the differences of community characteristics, species diversity and soil seed bank of Caragana korshinskii forests in different growth states, and analyzing the correlation between plant community and soil seed bank can provide a basic theory for the natural restoration of Caragana korshinskii forests. In this study, we conducted community surveys in Caragana korshinskii forests with different growth states in Kubuqi Desert, and sampled soil seed bank. The quantitative characteristics of soil seed bank were analyzed by microscopic examination in the laboratory. The results showed that: (1) Plant height, crown width, and vegetation coverage of Caragana korshinskii artificial replanting forest were the largest. Plant species richness in Caragana korshinskii aged and degraded forest was the highest, which was 12 species, mainly from Leguminosae and Amaranthaceae. (2) The Shannon diversity index and Margalef richness index of Caragana korshinskii aged and degraded forest were the highest, being 2.26 and 2.52, respectively. (3) Soil seed bank was mainly concentrated in 0-2 cm soil layer. The density of soil seed bank in 0-2 cm of Caragana korshinskii aged and degraded forest was the highest, which was 2614 seeds·m-2. (4) The density of soil seed bank was significantly positively correlated with plant species richness and community coverage. Therefore, the potential of soil seed bank can be fully utilized to promote the natural restoration of vegetation during the process of regeneration and transformation of aged and degraded forests.
