我国中东部越冬普通鵟迁徙路线卫星跟踪

Migration routes of Buteo japonicus wintering in central and eastern China by satellite tracking.

摘要: 普通鵟(Buteo japonicus)是国家二级保护野生动物,目前在我国的研究较为匮乏,开展该物种迁徙路线的研究,对该物种种群及其栖息地保护具有重要意义。2016—2019年对在河北与河南救护放飞的6只普通鵟迁徙路线进行了卫星跟踪,并在R语言中采用核密度分析的方法计算了普通鵟在越冬地和度夏地的核心区和活动区范围。结果表明,普通鵟在我国黑龙江小兴安岭和内蒙古大兴安岭,以及俄罗斯中西伯利亚高原、结雅河平原和布列亚山度夏,是典型的白天迁徙物种,迁徙高峰集中在09:00—14:00时,迁徙短暂停歇地较多。普通鵟主要利用林地、草地和农田,但利用率会随季节变化而异,春秋迁徙期间多利用林地,其次是草地和农田,度夏和越冬期则分别主要利用林地和农田。本研究首次揭示了在我国中东部地区越冬普通鵟的详细迁徙路线,为我国普通鵟种群的保护提供了基础资料。

Abstract: There is limited research on the eastern buzzard (Buteo japonicus), a second-level national protected bird in China. Understanding its migration routes is of great significance for the conservation of its population and related habitats. Migration routes of six eastern buzzards rescued in Hebei and Henan were obtained by satellite tracking during 2016-2019. The home range of eastern buzzards in wintering and summering grounds was calculated in R by kernel density analysis method. The results showed that eastern buzzards were found in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains of Heilongjiang and Daxing’an Mountains of Inner Mongolia in China, as well as in the Central Siberian Plateau, the Jieya River Plain and the Bureya Mountains of Russia in summer. It was a typical daytime migratory species, with the peak of migration between 09:00 and 14:00. There were many short-term stopover sites. Eastern buzzards mainly used trees, grassland, and farmland, with the utilization rate differing across seasons. Trees were mostly used, followed by grassland and farmland during the spring and fall migration stopover, while trees and farmland were mostly used during the summering and wintering periods, respectively. By revealing the detailed migration routes of wintering eastern buzzards in the central and eastern China for the first time, our results provide detailed information for the conservation of eastern buzzard populations in China.
