Effects of temperature on embryonic and larval developments of Clarias

Abstract

Abstract: The paper deals with the effect of temperature on the embryonic and larval developmentsof Clarias fuscus(Lacépède).The results of experiments showed that the favourable watertemperature for embryonic and larval developments of Clarias fuscus is 20—36℃,and 24—32℃ is the optimum.Embryonic development will come to a standstill or will be abnormalwhen the temperature is below 20℃ or above 38℃.
