Investigation and Analysis on the Resources of
Eriocheir sinensis
′Larvae in the Changjiang Estuary of Shanghai Region

The relationship between the amount of
Eriocheir sinensis
'larvae and various factors is analysed in this paper. It is observed that in recent years, the amount of
Eriocheir sinensis
'larvae is obviously decreased.Besides the influence of water conservancy project, the changes of Changjiang estuary and the pollution of water-body,over-catching of crab's parents is a very important factor. It is suggested that not only the ecological environment of Changjiang estuary, but also the spawning site and spawning parents of
Eriocheir sinensis
should be protected.
Vertical Ecoclimatic Layers in Hilly Regions of Zhejiang Province and Tea Production

There exists a relationship between the yield and quality of tea and the vertical distribution of ecoclimate. This paper gives a division of vertical ecoclimatic layers for tea plants and discusses how the yield and quality of tea are related to the different ecoclimatic layers.

The author points out:(1)fresh water is deficient in north and acidic in south,(2)acid rain is widely spreaded in this country,(3)water and soil erosion is very serious,(4)fresh water bodies are largely disturbed by crop fields,and(5)both ground and underground water are polluted. It is considered that for each kind of ecosystem, the common task is to preserve fresh water resources.
Application of Dynamic Structural Modelling in Ecosystem Analysis

This paper describes the application of simulator method of dynamic structural modelling in analyses of n-dimensional ecosystems or subecosystems and gives the“haggard-rabbit-grass”ecosystem as an example. It is shown that this method is more useful than the well-known Forrester's one.

After studying the patterns of energy-and material flow within the urban ecosystem of Tangshan, this paper discusses the relationship between the utilization of energy and material on one hand and the environment, population and economic development on the other hand.A suggestion of regulating the consumption of energy and material is also put forward.
Influence of Groundwater Table Fall and Soil Salinization to Meadow Vegetations in Mid-and Downstreams of the Shuleihe of Gansu and Their Countermeasures

Owing to the groundwater table fall and soil salinization being increased day by day, meadow vegetations have been degenerated and died in the mid-and downstreams of the Shuleihe. It has become one of the serious ecological problems in the production of livestock husbandry here. The countermeasures ought to be:utilize water resources rationally, ameliorate salty soils andimprove meadow vegetations.

Sheyang tree farm was established in 1690.After 20 and more years'exploitation, the ecologic, social and economic efficiencies got from it are higher than those got from the farms exploited in the same year.It is suggested that the exploitation of seabeaches in Jiangsu province should give priority to the development of forestry and stren gthen the establishment of natural protection regions along seabeaches.
