Abstract: The essential factor making cotton seedling too weak and late growth was that the shade of wheat influenced on soil temperature of the cotton rows. There were distinct relationship between soil temperature on the cotton rows and the shade degree of wheat on the interplanting field of spring cotton with wheat. The shade degree of wheat to cotton row was reduced with widing the distance between cotton and wheat rows and was increased with height of the wheat plants. Therefore, It was neassasary for interplanting spring cotton with wheat to determine rational separation of cotton and wheat; to select suitable variety of wheat favorable for growth of cotton seedling and to built rational population structure favorable for increasing yields of the wheat.
