Abstract: epista sordida is a favourite wild edible mushroom with strong aroma. The studies revealed that(1)The optimum pHfor its growth is 6.5,and the suitable range of pHis 67.(2)The optimum temperature for the growth of its mycelia is 26.8℃, and the higher and lower threshold temperatures are 40.67℃ and 0.213 ℃, respectively.(3)Under natural conditions with mean daily temperature 21.627℃ and pH 5.0-5.5, the mycelium can generate fruiting body.(4)This species can exist in extensive media with a biological efficiency of 2734%.
