Abstract: The overall and long term impacts of water resource shortage and water pollution on economic develop-ment, human life and ecological environment in Shenyang are discussed in this paper.It is pointed out that in order to solve these problems,a reasonable control policy and corresponding technology must be adopted in combining with the development and Conservancy of existing potential water resource.
