Abstract: There are six forest natural reserves in Jiangsu province which belong to three bieclimatic zones: temperate broad-leaved deciduous forest, north-subtropical broad-leaved evergreendeciduous mixed forest and subtropical broad-leaved evergreen forest, In this paper, the fundamental characters and ecological significances of the vegetation were discussed.
