Abstract: Faunal analysis was made for 491 species of agricultural insects, including pests and their natural enemies, which were collected in Hexi Corridor of Gansu province. The fauna of insects appeared to be intermixture between those of Northeast subregion and Mid-Asia subregion. The author suggested that Hexi Corridor could be divided into two divisions: the east and the west Hexi Corridor divisions. Dominant groups of agricultural insects and their ecological distribution in each division were discussed in the paper.
