Abstract: This paper described the application of DNA analysis technology in botanical research in detail from the following six aspects: DNA/DNA hybridization, restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis, DNArestriction mapping and nucleotide acid sequence analysis, polymerase chain reaction technology, DNA fingerprinting analysis, and Random amplified polymorphlic DNA analysis. The relationship between DNA analysis technology and plant systematics was also discussed in this paper.
