Reviews on the ecological effects of heavy metals in the agricultural application of sewage sludge

Abstract: This paper summarized the recent advances in the study on ecological effects of heavy metals as the agricultural application of sewage sludge. The summary was focused on the following aspects: plant reaction, soil microbiological and enzymatic reaction, pollution of groundwater, bioavailability, long term pollution and amendments remediation of heavy metal induced environmental problem as agricultural application of sewage sludge.
