Abstract: Based on the contents of“ Weed Ecology,Biology and Impact”—one of four exchange topics at the First InternationaI Weed Control Congress, held in February 17-21,l992,at Monash university,Melbourne,Australia,recent progresses of research on weed ecology and biology around the world were introduced in this paper.
