Abstract: Fast-growing R. japonicum QB113, QB27, QB30, QB F5-1 and others have been isolated from Black soil, Planosol, Meadow soil and Solonchak in northeast China since 1982. Some rhizobia of them were symbiotic nitrogen fixation effectiveness with soybean and have given increase of yield of soybean. Some rhizobia showed high NaCl tolerance and even surpassed 0.6M NaCl concentration. Several rhizobia could still have proteinase activity. These were first found.
