Insect Resource of Qinling——With Ningshan County as an Example

Abstract

Abstract: By means of light-trapping, the insect resource in Ningshan county of Shanxi province is investigated. The trapped insects belong to 36 families and 84 species. They are mostly Blattodea, Mantodea, Orthoptera, Dermaptera, Trichoptera, Hemiptera and Coleoptera.Saprophagous insects play an important role in the forest ecosystem of this county.It's suggested that a further investigation on the insect resource of Qinling is beneficial.
