AN OBSERVATION ON THE COEVOLUTION OF WOODPECKER AND LONGICORN

Abstract: This paper describes the relationship of absorbing nourishment between woodpecker and longicorn. Woodpecker pecks the elder larvas and chrysalises of longicorn in winter and spring, and longicorn develops and breeds in summer and autumn to maintain the lasting of its population. Such a fixed relationship of absorbing nourishment is a phenomenon of coevolution.
