江苏近海渔业水域表层微塑料污染特征

摘要: 微塑料作为一种新型污染物广泛分布于海洋环境中,对海洋生态系统构成潜在威胁。为了解江苏近海渔业水域表层水中的微塑料分布特征,本研究于2023年10月在江苏近海34个站位进行采样,结果显示,所有采样站位均检测到微塑料,丰度范围0.17~0.72个·m-3,平均丰度0.45±0.12个·m-3。微塑料的丰度分布呈现出明显的空间异质性,从整体分布来看,呈现出近岸高、远岸低的趋势;从地区分布来看,南通和连云港近岸海域的微塑料丰度高于盐城。微塑料的形状以纤维状(43%)和碎片状(39%)为主,颜色以白色(37%)、蓝色(26%)和绿色(16%)为主,粒径主要集中在<1 mm(80%),聚合物类型主要为聚丙烯(PP)(32%)和聚乙烯(PE)(27%)。江苏近海微塑料主要来源于陆地河流输入、生活污水排放、海上运输和渔业生产。本研究为我国近海微塑料污染管控提供了重要的数据支撑。

Abstract: Microplastics, a new type of pollutant, are widely distributed in the marine and pose a potential threat to the marine ecosystem. To understand the distribution characteristics of microplastics in the surface water of Jiangsu offshore fishery waters, we carried out sampling at 34 stations in Jiangsu offshore waters in October 2023. The results showed that microplastics were detected at all the stations. The abundance ranged from 0.17 to 0.72 items·m-3, and the average abundance of microplastics was 0.45±0.12 items·m-3. The abundance distribution of microplastics showed spatial heterogeneity, with an overall trend of being higher near the shore and lower far from the shore. From a regional distribution perspective, the abundance of microplastics in the coastal waters of Nantong and Lianyungang was significantly higher than that in Yancheng. The shapes of microplastics were mainly fibrous (43%) and fragmented (39%). The colors are mainly white (37%), blue (26%), and green (16%). The particle sizes were mainly <1 mm (80%). The polymer types were mainly polypropylene (PP) (32%) and polyethylene (PE) (27%). Source analysis of microplastics showed that they were derived from inputs from rivers, domestic sewage discharges, maritime transportation and fishery production. This study provides important data support for the control of microplastic pollution in coastal areas of China.
