Qi Enshan, Li Peijun, Zhao Zhongsheng, Ren Liping, Jiang Jun
    1987, (2):  1-5.
    Asbtract ( 1145 )   PDF (469KB) ( 163 )
This is a report on the result of a long term research of the waste water in the Zhangshiirrigation system in western Shenyang. The circulation and accumulation of phenol and CN-in the soil-rice system were studied. The influence of these compounds in the waste wateron the growth, production and quality of rice were further investigated.
Effect of Rhizosphere Microorganism of Sand-Fixing Plants on Sandy Soil Development and Shifting Sand Stabilization
    Chen Zhuchun, Li Dingshu
    1987, (2):  6-12.
    Asbtract ( 1296 )   PDF (686KB) ( 347 )
Eight years old sand-fixing plants planted on shifting dunes have well-developed rhizo-sphere microorganisms.Hedysarum scoparium,Caragana korshinskii and Artemisia ordosica have more microorganisms in their rhizosphere than beyond it.But,Hedysarum scoparium hasless non-spore-bearing bacteria in it's thizosphere. The development of soil in the rhizo-sphere is better than that beyond it because of the stronger microorganism activities in therhizosphere. The crust and cloddy structure layer are thicker.
Root System Investigations of Some Tree Species Growing in Wuwei Prefecture, Gansu
    Ma Liangqing
    1987, (2):  13-17.
    Asbtract ( 1100 )   PDF (413KB) ( 157 )
When the water supply was based on natural precipitation, the tree roots distributed hori-zontally in the soil surface layer. The trees developed their taproot system if they got waterfrom underground. The roots of trees growing on irrigated land grew mainly in the layerwhere it was able to be moistened by the irrigated water.
Investigations of Soil Animals in Tropic Rubber Tree and Tea Plantations
    Deng Xiaobao
    1987, (2):  18-20.
    Asbtract ( 1078 )   PDF (240KB) ( 174 )
Soil animals in the pure rubber tree plantation, pure tea plantation and rubber tree-teaplantation were investigated. They distributed mainly in the litter layer, secondly in thelayer of 0—5 cm deep.In the layer of 30 cm deep, only Termitidae could be ound.Earthworm(Oligochaeta opisthopora)was dominated among big soil animals, and Acarina wasdominated among the small ones. The rubber tree-tea plantation had more soil animals thanother plantations.
Study on Life-Forms of Evergreen Broad-Leaved Forest in Subtropics of China
    Wang Meidong
    1987, (2):  21-23,17.
    Asbtract ( 1396 )   PDF (346KB) ( 149 )
Through widely investigating the vegetations in Yunjushan,Jinggangshan,Lianhuashan,Lushan,Xin jian,Dagangshan,Yongfeng and Wuyunshan, and thoroughly analysing thelife-forms of evergreen broad-leaved forest in subtropics of China, the following conclusionswere drawn.1.It is dominated by the phanerophytes in the forest.2.With the decrease ofthe latitude and the progressive succession of the eco-series,the percentage of phanerophytesin the forest increases, but other life forms decreases correspondingly. In the northern, central and southern parts of the evergeen broad-leaved forest zone, the percentage of phane-rophytes is respectively 60—70%,70—80% and 80—90%.
Relationship Between Nutritive Salts and Quantitative Influctuation of Cryptomonas ovata
    Zheng Youxiong, Zhang Taishan
    1987, (2):  24-26.
    Asbtract ( 1290 )   PDF (254KB) ( 170 )
The positive correlation exists between the quantity of Cryptomonas ovata and the con-centration of NH4+ in fish pond.Cryptomonas ovata begins to reproduce and increase quantitatively under the conditions of the pond water in which the temperature is 15℃ or so;the concentration of NH4+ reaches up to 0.5—0.7 mg/l;NO3- not lower than 0.04rag/l;P2O5 not lower than 0.15mg/l and there is a trace of NO2-,Cryptomonas ovata can notproliferate if there is not adequate NH4+ even though there is a considerable quantity of NO3-,NO2- and P2O5.
Samples of Explicit Solution and Fitting of Cui-Lawson's Single Population Growth Model
    Wang Bennan
    1987, (2):  27-30.
    Asbtract ( 1100 )   PDF (353KB) ( 152 )
The explicit solution of Cui-Lawson's Model (dx)/(dt)μc x (1-x/xm)/(1-x/xm′)was discussed. The equationhas an explicit solution of form x=f(t)only if xm/xm′=0,1/4,1/3,1/2,2/3,3/4 and 1.Sample of curve fitting of the model was given.
Concept of Value in Ecological Science
    Yu Mochang
    1987, (2):  31-34,43.
    Asbtract ( 1007 )   PDF (519KB) ( 139 )
The concept of value was introduced into the ecological science in the article. It advancedthat natural resources also had a value which challenged the traditional idea about theconcept of value. The evaluation of environment in value and economic evaluation ofnatural resources were discussed. The ecological index and the method to calculate it weregiven too.

    Asbtract ( 1198 )   PDF (521KB) ( 410 )
The general characters of the biotic communities around the Changjiang River Estuary and Northern Hangzhou Bay were discussed.Human activities gave an important influence onthe speed and directions of the commtunity successions.

The paper deals with the effect of temperature on the embryonic and larval developmentsof Clarias fuscus(Lacépède). The results of experiments showed that the favourable watertemperature for embryonic and larval developments of Clarias fuscus is 20—36℃,and 24—32℃ is the optimum.Embryonic development will come to a standstill or will be abnormalwhen the temperature is below 20℃ or above 38℃.
