The Effect of Eco-Environmental Factors on Symbiotic N-Fixation and Seed Yield of Soybean
Lin Jishang, Lu Fengyong, Xue Delin, Qi Bo, Wang Shujin, Wang Deming, Li Qingrui
    1985, (5):  1-5,32.
    Asbtract ( 1294 )   PDF (484KB) ( 252 )
It's shown that when soybean is inoculated with R.japonicum which has a high nitroge-nase activity, its seed yield is 19.8% higher than that infected by indigenous R.japonicum. During its seed-filling stage, photosynthetic rate of leaves and nitrogenase activity of nodules are significantly greater than control.Regressive equations indicating the effect of each eco-environmental factor on symbiotic N-fixation and seed yield of soybean are obtained.
Effect of Erosion and Its Prevention on Agro-Ecological Environment in Loess Plateau
Yu Cunzu, Liu Yaohong, Dai Minjun, Peng Lin
    1985, (5):  6-9.
    Asbtract ( 1190 )   PDF (370KB) ( 158 )
Erosion brings a great damage to the agro-ecosystem and makes it unstable. Building terrace and covering land surface with trees and grasses can prevent water, soil and nutrient from erosion and leaching. And thus, the ecological equilibrium can be restored and the biomass can be increased in loess plateau.
Roles of Interaction-and correlation Coefficients in the Division of Breeding Areas of Late Rice
    Wang Zhenzhou, Hu Bingmin
    1985, (5):  10-14.
    Asbtract ( 1303 )   PDF (321KB) ( 215 )
Adopting with the methods of William-Clifford (1971) and Orloci(1975, 1978), a comparison of cluster analysis results is made, which indicates that the roles of interaction-and coorelation coefficients in the division of breeding areas of late rice in Zhejiang province are basically the same.In addition, referring with the geographical locations of 11 experimental spots, a preliminary programme for their rational arrangement is put forward.
Ecological Studies on the African Giant Snail(Achating fulica F閞ussac)
    Qi Sang
    1985, (5):  15-18.
    Asbtract ( 1339 )   PDF (348KB) ( 156 )
Some ecological aspects of introduced Achatina fulica Ferussac including breeding period shell dimension, egg-laying number, population structure and distribution are discussed in this paper. Its breeding period in south China is from July to November, the highest percentage of egg-carrying individuals be appeared in July.No significant correlation between shell length and egg-laying number can be found. Under controlled temperature of 25℃, only 59.3% of eggs can develop to larva. Its population is mainly comprised by young snails.Achatina fulica also presents in some other parts of China.
A Preliminary Analysis of Radiation Status in Artificial Cunninghamia lanceolata Forest
Zeng Shiyu, Zhu Jinwei, Feng Zongwei, Chen Chuying, Zhang Jiawu, Deng Shijian
    1985, (5):  19-23.
    Asbtract ( 1173 )   PDF (407KB) ( 208 )
Observations in 1982—1983 show that in Huitong, a productive centre of Cunninghamia lanceolata, within the 22 years old artificial Cunninghamia lanceolata forest which is located in south west slope of 15 degrees, the total radiation heat in the upper part of crown canopy is 78,388 cal/cm2·yr., reflecting heat is 6,848 cal/cm2·yr., transmission heat is 8,648 cal/cm2·yr., and absorption heat is 62,892 cal/cm2·yr.
An Observation on the Behaviors of Female Minks During Their Lactation and Newborn Ones
    Zou Xinghuai
    1985, (5):  24-26.
    Asbtract ( 1068 )   PDF (278KB) ( 173 )
Observations, from May to June in 1978 show that during their lactation, female minks are seldom moved about, and over 85% of them are nursing and prone.Over 90% of newborn ones are sucking and deep-sleeping. All of these are advantageous for the growth and survival of newborn minks.
Economic Effects of the HuangYangtan State Farm
    Lin Qingfa
    1985, (5):  27-28,50.
    Asbtract ( 1109 )   PDF (291KB) ( 152 )
This paper gives a comprehensive analysis to the economic effects of the Huangyangtan state farm in Ningxia, emphasizing that farmland shelter-forest is the ecological protective screen of agro-ecosystem.
A Preliminary Approach to the Qualitative Evaluation of Eco-Environment in Min Jiang Basin
    Wang Zulin
    1985, (5):  29-32.
    Asbtract ( 1128 )   PDF (422KB) ( 231 )
This paper discusses the variations of eco-environment in Min Jiang basin of Fujian, gives a brief analysis to its population structure of plants and animals, environmental quality, functions of rivers, natural resources and calamities, predicts the tendencies of population growth, environmental pollution and resource destruction, and puts forward some countermeasures.
Theoretical Aspect of Planning Natural Reservation Region
    Niu Wenyuan
    1985, (5):  33-38.
    Asbtract ( 1176 )   PDF (541KB) ( 177 )
A combination of species-region relation and equilibrium theory is presented to plan natural reservation region.

Guo Shiving, Shao Jinyu, Zhou Jingruo, Shi Weidong
    1985, (5):  39-41.
    Asbtract ( 1250 )   PDF (295KB) ( 185 )
By means of light-trapping, the insect resource in Ningshan county of Shanxi province is investigated. The trapped insects belong to 36 families and 84 species. They are mostly Blattodea, Mantodea, Orthoptera, Dermaptera, Trichoptera, Hemiptera and Coleoptera.Saprophagous insects play an important role in the forest ecosystem of this county. It's suggested that a further investigation on the insect resource of Qinling is beneficial.
The ecological distributions and appraisement of the fast-grouwing Rjapinicum from the different soils in northeast China Wang Shujin et al
    1985, (5):  51-52.
    Asbtract ( 1402 )   PDF (170KB) ( 194 )
Fast-growing R. japonicum QB113, QB27, QB30, QB F5-1 and others have been isolated from Black soil, Planosol, Meadow soil and Solonchak in northeast China since 1982. Some rhizobia of them were symbiotic nitrogen fixation effectiveness with soybean and have given increase of yield of soybean. Some rhizobia showed high NaCl tolerance and even surpassed 0.6M NaCl concentration. Several rhizobia could still have proteinase activity. These were first found.
