Abstract: Through analyzing the ecological suitability of introduced corn to sunshine-temperature-precipitation and its climatic potential productivity in mid sub-tropical region of China ,it is found that April and the first and second ten-days of May are optimal for corn seeding ,and "two dry and one wet" cropping system (e>g> ,rape-corn-late rice) on paddy soil and multiple cropping system on upland soil are adaptable to corn production.
