Abstract: The major forests in Mt.Cheba were divided into two formations and four forest-type gro-ups with the Fussy maths cluster method.The result showed that this method can be usedto classify the mid-subtropic evergreen broad-leaved forests and the correspondence of theforest-type groups with their environments.Thus,similar management practices can beapplied to the similar forest-types groups.
